The 2026 Honda Passport now receives a boxier design and improved off-road capability. The Trailsport trims gain rugged upgrades; the RTL trim has more luxury and tech. A V6, 10-speed automatic transmission and redefined AWD system ensure the Passport is in its best performance on and off-road.
TrailSport trims are now serious about off-roading

For those who are seeking adventure, the Passport TrailSport now starts at $49,900 and also comes with a host of off-road enhancements, including amber daytime running lights, orange front tow hooks, all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, and a specially tuned suspension.

On the TrailSport Elite trim, it gets priced at $53,900, and more premium touches may be found. This trim also gets a 12-speaker Boss sound system, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, passive keyless entry, and a Trail Watch off-road camera system.

Optional Blackout packages at $1,200 are on both Honda TrailSpors trims, which add dark badges and 18-inch black wheels. On adding this package, the prices get to $51,100 for the TrailSport and $55,100 for the TrailSport Elite.
RTL Version Replaces the EX-L
For off-road extras, Honda has introduced a new RTL trim, which replaces the previous EX-L trim. The new 2026 Passport RTL starts at $42,600, a plus $2,350 increase over its predecessor. It includes heated front seats, an upgraded interior with extra cupholders, a 10-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google software, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. A tow package can be added for $700, which includes a receiver with recovery points. Like the TrailSport trims, the RTL has a $1,200 blackout package for a stealthier look.

2026 Honda Passport Power and Performance
All the 2026 Honda Passports are powered by a new dual overhead cam 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower. The engine works with a 10-speed automatic transmission and Honda’s torque vectoring all-wheel-drive system to improve handling and stability. Fuel efficiency ratings remain familiar, with the RTL getting 21 mpg combined (19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway). The Trailsports models see slightly lower estimates of 20 mpg combined (18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway).
The 2026 Honda Passport is now hitting dealerships worldwide. Whether you are looking for an everyday-capable SUV or an off-road-ready car, the latest Passport trims got you.
