Power and Performance

The lineup of the Model Y includes the Standard Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD), which is equipped with a 260-mile range and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds. Both the Model Y Long Range and Performance trims feature dual motors for higher horsepower. The Long Range model offers a range of up to 310 miles and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. The Performance trim, while offering a slightly lower range of 303 miles, impressively accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

Charging and Battery Life

Both the Tesla Model Y Long Range and Performance models use the same 82 kWh battery and dual motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The Long Range RWD variant can travel up to 310 miles, while the Performance variant has a range of 285 miles. The Model Y supports charging rates of up to 250 kW, making recharging quick and efficient.

Interior and Cargo

The Model Y’s interior can be configured with either two rows of seats for five passengers or three rows to accommodate up to seven passengers. The third row, however, offers limited legroom at 26.5 inches. For those who often travel with six others, the Model Y offers 29.8 inches of legroom in the seven-seater configuration and 32.2 inches in the six-seater. A heavily tinted, all-glass roof adds an airy feel to the cabin. The cargo space is generous, offering up to 76 cubic feet in the two-row model and 68 cubic feet in the three-row model.

Infotainment and Tech

At the center of the dashboard, a large, horizontally oriented 15-inch infotainment display provides entertainment and navigation functions. Features include embedded Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, and various video games. Rear passengers can enjoy an 8.0-inch screen for climate control, content streaming, and gaming.
